Welcome

Principal's Message

Welcome to St. Thomas More School!  We will be continually adding more information, pictures, and updates so that you may learn exactly how we live out “…More Than You Can Imagine!”

Bricks and mortar do not tell our story, but rather it is the wonderful experiences that our students receive during their time here that define us.  Christ is the center of all we do. This allows us to instill in our students a strong faith foundation with an emphasis on academic excellence.  The strong commitment of our faculty and staff works to ensure success for all our students – helping each student grow to his/her highest spiritual, intellectual, physical, and moral potential.

St. Thomas More School’s success stems from building on best practices for learning while embracing today’s technology and 21st century skills.  We believe that we are preparing our students to be tomorrow’s leaders.  Our students have access to online textbooks and a variety of technology to use in the classroom, from interactive white boards to individual use of Chromebooks and other devices.

We have a rich tradition of over 60 years, and our future looks even brighter!  We would love the opportunity to welcome your family as part of our school community in the near future.

Sincerely yours in Christ,

Michael Collins, Principal

Our School

Our Faith

The school day begins with Morning Prayer and announcements as students gather in our gymnasium. A focus on faith continues throughout the day with formal prayers at lunch and dismissal, but spontaneous opportunities during the day celebrate successes, share burdens and connect students with Catholics around the world.

Weekly Mass on Fridays and Holy Days of Obligation give students an opportunity to participate in ministries such as lector, choir and hospitality. Prayer services celebrate many special occasions during our Church year and are frequently led by students. Older students are paired with younger students for prayer partner activities to foster faith and community building.

Our patron, St. Thomas More, is honored for his integrity and devotion to his family. St. Thomas More served Henry VIII, King of England as his Chancellor for three years. He was martyred for his faith after opposing the King’s divorce and establishment of the Church of England with Henry as its head. Our mission is to help children develop personal integrity, compassion and the courage to live their Catholic faith.

Integrity, Compassion, Courage

A focus on faith through each students' daily schedules.
